Thirds Keep Marching On

Hammies vs DurBell 305
Joy of victory and the despair of defeat

In what was always going to be a tough and exciting clash, we eagerly awaited to start the days proceedings against DurBell on Saturday. The game did not disappoint as we walked away with a 4 point victory but one that showed some great rugby by both sides
We ran in 3 tries through Lazz, Rayvin and Monre but the game was a nail-biter right to the bitter end even though we held a 12 point half time lead.
Durbies did well in the 2nd half as the wind picked up and they pinned us back in our half.  Some great defence by the 3rds and a good line out move eventually helped seal the victory as Monre scored under the posts to put us 2 scores away

Hammies vs DurBell 223DurBell scored at the end of the game to make it 24-20 and made for an exciting finish but the team held on for the win.

Congrats to Rayvin and Ranger for their solid performances on the day
