Springboks visit our Juniors

After Allister Coetzee announced his Bok squad, the side assembled in Cape Town on Sunday morning.

1st XV win at Florida Park with the fightback of the season

As anticipated the trip out to Florida Park to face a resurgent Tygerberg was as challenging as expected.

Our match preparation had gone according to plan, we had made a number of changes in the lead up which contributed towards our cumbersome start to the match.

Lazz hatrick gives the 3rd XV 5 points Tygerberg

Last season Hammies 3rds put 90 odd points past Tygerberg. This year it was a different story.
In what quickly became a difficult day, Hammies were disrupted before kick off with winger Dean Wolmarans pulling up with a hamstring injury. Poor Dean couldn’t take part at all, so really bad luck for him. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Belhar Blues for 1st XV


The match at Hamiltons on Saturday was a humdinger as the game ebbed and flowed with both teams fighting for every meter they gained.

Dan bags 4 as Hammies 3rds march on

Daniel MacKenzie bagged 4 tries as Hamilton’s claimed another bonus point win against a much improved Belhar on Saturday.
McKenzies hat-rick came inside of 30 minutes as the Hammies backs ran the ball from all corners in favourable conditions.
In an entertaining game, it was Belhar that showed much improvement in their play from last season but ultimately had no answer to the hard and direct running from Hamilton’s back row and centres in particular.

Belhar sink the U20’s
