Hammies not at their best but still win convincingly….

Another week and Hamilton yet again loose two players – Loose Forward, Luke van der Smit who will be joining the elite at Hong Kong Rugby on a two year contract and Flanker, Christo van der Merwe who has been called up by Namibia for their international rugby fixtures while Fullback, Marlo Weich made an impressive debut against the SWD Eagles a week ago against WP. Weich continues his scintillating form…

After returning from a short international tour to Georgia with the WP Rugby Academy – Fullback, Marlo Weich continued his excellent form by scoring no fewer than four tries for Hamilton SP-RFC in their big 55 – 6 away at Primrose on Saturday. Amazingly Marlo Weich also scored all five of the WP Academy tries in there three match series against the Georgian u/20 team who are preparing to participate and host the Under 20 – Rugby World Cup. Seccies ruthless as UniMil lose 1st game

After a good win against NNK two weeks ago and another break between game we face the unbeaten Unimil.

Joni and Poleman star in 3rds win

Dynamiter 4ths move 3rd on the log after win

The match was set to kick off at 14h30 at Pollsmoor sports field and the Dynamiters had a great warm-up session leading up to the match, the lads were focused and switched on.

During the warm up, Che Arenz (hooker) seemed to have been sniped by one of the prison guards and went down with a calf injury ruling him out of the match with Dan Nel taking over at hooker. To add to the confusion, kick off was delayed as the hosts were running late. Discussions between the referee, Jon Friday (Coach) and Ismail Jattiem (Captain) resulted in an agreement to kick the match off at 15h00 instead..
