Long serving Hammies centre Dan Mackenzie really does enjoy a home a fixture and on Saturday it showed as he produced yet again for the 3rds with no less than 4 tries in a single match.
This is not the first time we have seen Dan with a nose for the try line, but this past week against Tygerberg he was a bulldozer personified and at his very best. Well played man of the match Dan!

Hammies 3rds made the trip to Belhar on Saturday on yet another perfect day for running Rugby.
What was immediately clear is that Belhar is a club on the rise and they defend their home ground with passion and pride. During our warm up we finally got to watch some of the U20’s who were involved in real tussle.

The 140 th Derby Day kicked off with the 3rd teams locking horns in pleasant but windy conditions on Saturday. Hammies made the early running and quickly settled into a decent rhythm against a fired up Villager.
After some nice interplay Jason Poleman stepped through to open the scoring under the posts.
