Hamilton’s get five points for win at the Green Mile

2009 was the last time Hamilton SP-RFC beat UCT at the Green Mile when Alshaun Bock scored the winning try in the far corner in the last move of the game. Eight years has been a long wait for a Hammies victory as the class of 2017 outscored Ikeys by 5 tries to four for a fantastic 33 – 26 away win. Match Report – U20B vs UCT U20B

It was a fantastic day for rugby and both teams were eager to get started. The game started about 15 minutes late after the referee had an unexpected delay.

The boys from UCT drew first blood with a well executed play scoring in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful. Craig’s fifer puts Hammies Seccies on Top!

Thanks to five try feast by winger Craig Pheiffer, Hammies-“Seccies” have gone top of the SLA – 2!

After scoring a hat-trick against Primrose a week ago, Craig Pheiffer was once again in great form as he scored five tries in an emphatic home win against UWC 2nd side. He has now scored 40 points (8 tries) in two outings and is only 8 points behind our goal-kicker, Lohan Lubbe who has scored 1 try, 20 conversions and 1 penalty in three league matches.
